i need some major help on networking??
Ok we have a wireless router and a modem and we have so many things that run wireless through our house that right now my sony vaio laptop will not work right it says its connected to the internet but it wont go to any webpage ive tried every thing possible even a system restore which wont even work i dont know how to do a restore now its all bugging me im going CRAZY!!!!!!!! the only things right now running wireless that we are useing are 3-4 laptops and the connection sucks thoughout my house we dont know why and we have a range extender but it doenst seem to do anything does any one have any soulutions or websites i can type all this in again and get even more possible help??
Wireless is always crappy compared to a wired connection.
You may try moving your stuff around until you find the best connection and then not moving it. Sometimes moving it even a few inches can make a great deal of difference.
