Cordless Wireless System
Vonage plus a wireless router plus 58GHZ cordless Phone System?
I signed up for Vonage and bought a wireless internet router at the same time. I noticed static on the line, particularly when the person on the other end of the line is talking (less so when I am). The other end claims they do not hear the static but I do. The cordless phone system I bought is supposed to be "wireless router friendly" but I can't tell if its the router or the Vonage causing the problem. I've followed all the directions in the phone manual to troubleshoot this problem but to no avail. Anyone have the same problem and how did you solve it?
5.8 G phones do not interfere with wireless routers. Who is your ISP??? If you are using DSL or the cheapest cable plan you might not have enough bandwidth. But check it with a cheap wired phone. just in case you have a bad one..
