Year Warranty If Microsoft repairs your xbox is your 3 year warranty renewed?
Just last summer, my xbox 360 had the red ring of death and microsoft repaired it free of charge. Now my warranty has just recently expired (the 3 year extended warranty) and the microsoft website says it will cost $94 to repair it. I have heard from some sources that if microsoft repairs your xbox then you get another 3 year warranty. Is this true?
They extend it to three years from the first console which covers any replacements within those 3 years. It doesn't get extended again so once those 3 years are up, you have to pay to get it fixed.
